This summer Teatro ZinZanni will sizzle with SULTRY SUMMER MAGIC, a spectacular show with a line-up of rotating song sirens, each taking their turn playing the role of our famed Madame ZinZanni.
June 10-28 - Popular R&B artists Edna Wright and The Honey Cone
July 1-19- Tony and Grammy Award-winner Melba Moore making her ZinZanni debut.
July 22-August 9 is screen, television and cabaret star Sally Kellerman.
August 12-30 rock hit-maker Darlene Love.
All five performances are sure to deliver exciting and thrilling evenings that will only happen in Teatro ZinZanni's magical 'jewel box' theater. This show series is not to be missed...all five of them!
SULTRY SUMMER MAGIC also includes original cast member and ZinZanni favorite, Ukrainian illusionist Voronin in the role of the mysterious traveler. Blending modern dance, pantomime skills and contortion in a mind blowing puppet act is Russian performance artist Svetlana. They are joined by Bay Area based juggler/comedian Michael Davis, who returns in the role of Chef de Cuisine. Master clown and man of a thousand faces, Peter Pitofsky makes a welcome return to the ZinZanni tent. Russian acrobatic team Duo Artemiev (Dimitri Artemiev and Elena Mozgalevskaya) will be performing a graceful and physically demanding tango on the trapeze. Making their ZinZanni debut and their first appearance in the U.S. is The Randols (Masimo Medini and Denise Garcia), an extraordinary dynamic roller skate and hula-hoop act, combining high speed, passion and sensuality that will take your breath away!
